Katherine is known nationwide for her private lesson instruction. With her graduate degree in Education, 25 years of experience and "the eye," her coaching and lessons go a long long way. Nick has also received high praise for his lessons, having been trained for years with Katherine. We always promise, "You'll Love the Way You Look," because you will!

Why Private Lessons?

Private Lessons are an essential part of refining your dancing skills. The Private Lesson environment provides you with individual, personalized attention that improves your technique, musicality, dance vocabulary and partnering skills. They also provide you with the confidence to dance well in any situation. Private Lessons are also tailored to suit your needs and interests.

What are Pro/Ams?

Pro/Ams are when an Amateur (students) competes with their Pro (teacher). Events have Pro/Am divisions for a variety of levels, beginning through advanced. Pro/Ams provide a chance for students to both work towards a goal, show what they know, be seen at their best, with their teacher, by national judges.

Private Lesson Rates

Single Lessons (55 mins, 1-2 persons)

Nick- $75
Katherine- $85
Nick & Katherine- $140

Packages (4 Lessons)

Nick- $250
Katherine- $300
Nick & Katherine- $500

Student Discount

Monthly Class Participants & Current Full-Time Students (with ID) Take an extra $5 off.

Before You Book...

Booking Policies

Bookings can be made in person, through email or by phone.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
As we cannot yet take credit cards over the phone, phone bookings require online payment. We will put a temporary hold (typically 2 hrs) on your private lesson slot and send you an online invoice through Paypal (Paypal accepts credit cards and electronic bank transfers).
We are happy to use a floor of your choice. Should you require space in a studio, we pay half of the floor fee, up to $10, for the space.
Floor fees are due at the lesson, not in advance, unless otherwise required by the studio.

Cancellation Policies

We ask that you provide 72 hrs notice for all cancellations.
We allow one ‘grace’ cancellation within 72 hrs in case of an emergency.
After the single ‘grace’ cancellation, the client will be charged in full for their cancellation under 72 hrs.
Should a client cancel or reschedule 3 or more lessons prior to the 72 hr period, we reserve the right to place a 3 month probation on bookings with that client.
All pre-paid floor fees are non-refundable.

Pro/Am Policies

Generally we require at least one private lesson per style of dance before registering a student for a Pro/Am.
We do not require you to pay for your Pro’s event ticket or hotel if we are already on staff or attending the event.
There is a $20 performance fee per Pro/Am entry.
